DESCRIPTION:<p>Summer is here, and with warmer days ahead, Green Office would like to invite you to a fun and interactive afternoon focused on staying safe in the sun, learning about climate change, and exploring sustainable energy!<br /><br />\n<br /><br />\nDate: 11 June 2026<br /><br />\nTime: 13:00 – 16:00<br /><br />\nLocation: Outside the ECRI Campus, near the ping pong table<br /><br />\n<br /><br />\nCome by anytime during the event and take part in a variety of hands on activities:</p><br />\n<br />\n<ul><br />\n	<li>Bike Powered Smoothie Station<br /><br />\n	Generate electricity by pedaling a bicycle and power a blender to make your own smoothie! This is a student project developed during the semester and a fun way to experience renewable energy in action.<br /><br />\n	 </li><br />\n	<li>Make UV Visible<br /><br />\n	Experiment with UV sensitive beads and discover how shade, clothing, hats, and sunscreen affect UV exposure.<br /><br />\n	 </li><br />\n	<li>Cool Campus Map<br /><br />\n	Help improve our campus by marking areas that need more shade, greenery, or better access to drinking water.</li><br />\n</ul><br />\n<br />\n<p> </p><br />\n<br />\n<ul><br />\n	<li>Heat Survival Corner<br /><br />\n	Learn simple tips about hydration, heat stress, and how to protect yourself during hot summer days.<br /><br />\n	 </li><br />\n	<li>Climate & Campus<br /><br />\n	Explore how climate change affects our daily lives and discover practical solutions for adapting to hotter summers.</li><br />\n</ul><br />\n<br />\n<p><br /><br />\nThere will be fun experiments, interesting discussions, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to learn something new while enjoying the outdoors.<br /><br />\n<br /><br />\nWe look forward to spending the afternoon with you!<br /><br />\n<br /><br />\nYour Green Office team </p><br />\n
