To celebrate the completion of your studies and to prepare a worthy graduation from the university, the DIT alumni team organizes a graduation ceremony for you and your relatives.

Students who have successfully completed their studies in the summer semester 2026 were invited to the ceremony in January 2026. The following faculties was bid farewell:

• Applied Healthcare Sciences
• Applied Computer Science
• Applied Natural Sciences and Industrial Engineering
• Applied Economics (School of Management)
• Civil and Environmental Engineering
• Electrical Engineering and Media Technology
• Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics

The date for the graduation ceremony for the graduates of summer semester 2025 was Friday, 16 January 2026. The ceremony took place in the Stadthalle Deggendorf.

The ceremony was held in German.

Procedure:

• Arrival and dressing of the graduates in gown and hat
• Ceremonial entry of all graduates into the hall
• Greetings
• Student graduation speech
• Presentation of certificates by the Dean of the Faculty
• Presentation of company awards to prize-worthy graduates
• "Shift the Tassel” moderated by the President of DIT and joint hat toss as a symbolic conclusion of the degree program
• Champagne reception in the town hall
